Existentialism Paper 2 BEAUVOIR–THE SECOND SEX “Woman is the Other.” Analyze the passage beginning “If the female function is not enough…” and ending with “… he is the Absolute, She is the Other” (pp. 4–6). Your analysis should bring out Beauvoir’s fundamental ideas about women, philosophy, and the nature of oppression.

2. Reciprocity and why it’s lacking in men-women
